In 10-13 March 2008 we had the chance to host the group of RZE Distribution workers participating in the training which embraced construction and operation of on-load tap changers (OLTC) in our company premises. In the theoretical part the training participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the construction of the most common OLTC types in Poland and the latest technologies which are introduced in the construction of tap changers by Maschinenfabrik REINHAUSEN producer.
In the practical part the training participants were familiarized with the principles of OLTC drives operation, power train devices and the methods of diverter switch adjustment.
In the last part of the training the participants were familiarized with the most common defects in on-load tap changers operation. Apart from theoretical and practical classes conducted in our company premises RZE Distribution workers had the chance to get to know the interesting places connected with the history of Piekary Śląskie (Poland) and our region.
